Andrew Garten

Andrew is a Caliber executive responsible for business development and client education. As a tenured alternative investment specialist, Andrew is tasked with client education and business development for the Caliber private wealth platform. He represents Caliber's leading alternative estate planning solutions, encompassing Private Equity Commercial Real Estate, Qualified Opportunity Zones and other alternatives.

Throughout his career, Andrew has been dedicated to promoting the role of alternative investments in modern portfolio asset allocation models. Prior to joining the Caliber team, Andrew served as a Senior Vice President for Griffin Capital, where his primary focus was on private real estate and private credit investment structures, catering to clients across multiple distribution channels. Before Griffin Capital, Andrew held various capital markets positions within Cole Capital, most recently as a Senior Vice President of Major Markets in New York, NY. Over the course of nearly two decades, Andrew has been directly responsible for raising over a billion dollars of equity for alternative investment vehicles. He is a frequent speaker at industry meetings and employs an educational approach to help high net worth investors and their financial intermediaries determine how alternative investments can complement traditional public market holdings within diversified investment portfolios.

Andrew is a graduate of Virginia Tech University's Business School, where he studied global business management with an emphasis on technological innovation and corporate entrepreneurship. He gains his global perspective from a diverse upbringing that led him to live in various parts of the world and travel to over 70 countries. When he's not traveling, you can find Andrew coaching his son's hockey team during the winter or enjoying activities such as fishing, tennis, and golfing in the summertime.
